Location:  Loveland Living Planet Aquarium

Utahns have high expectations and ambitious hopes for the Point of the Mountain area. From the rapidly growing cities to the booming tech sector to the beautiful natural surroundings, Utahns want the Point of the Mountain to be prosperous and thriving, accessible and enjoyable, and healthy and beautiful. The Point of the Mountain can lead the way in establishing a 21st Century “innovation economy,” providing a convenient and enjoyable lifestyle, and demonstrating sustainable approaches to using natural resources and improving air quality.

We need your continued help because of your background, knowledge, and the influence you have in the community. The meeting attendees will include landowners and representatives from government, business, nonprofit organizations, academia, and other sectors of the community. At the meeting, we will report on phase 1, launch phase 2, and work in small groups to decide what should be included in the phase 2 scenarios.

You can find more information and the phase 1 report here: https://pointofthemountainfuture.org/.

Please join us --your input is critical to this process.

Public Workshop Update and New Survey

February may be the shortest month of the year, but that doesn't mean the Point of the Mountain visioning process is slowing down. The first two Point of the Mountain Public Workshops were held on February 15th and 16th and were a huge success! Thank you so much to everyone who came out and shared their ideas and concerns.

If you weren't able to make it out to one of the public workshops, we've developed a new survey based on the workshop contents. Taking this survey will ensure that your voice is heard as we develop a range of scenarios for the Point of the Mountain's future, using input from the public, from stakeholders, and from experts in fields including transportation, environmental planning, infrastructure, community design, and more.

Click here to take the survey.

Point of the Mountain Public Workshops

In mid-February, we will be holding two initial public workshops to engage residents who live in the Point of the Mountain area. This will help inform the process as we get their input and feedback in person. These workshops are open to everyone.

The workshops will be held at the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium on February 15 and in the Ashton Gardens visitor center at Thanksgiving Point on February 16. Each will run from 6 to 7:30 pm and will be free of charge. Participants will spend the ninety minutes answering survey questions and offering their ideas on maps.

Please attend and share your vision! Public participation is critical to the planning effort.
